Welcome To the First Post

Many are displeased with the course charted by those who now rule our beloved The New School for Social Research.

And now comes John McCain as commencement speaker, adding insult to Bob Kerrey injury.

The New School for Social Research, the Ivy of the Left.

The New School was founded in 1919 as a beacon of hope for those marginalized by the American dream. Establishing the University in Exile in 1933, The New School offered refuge to victims of fascist persecution. The graduates of The New School have memorably served the cause of humanity in countless ways.

And now comes John McCain as commencement speaker, adding insult to Bob Kerrey injury.

Herewith is founded the New School In Exile, on 11 May 2006 CDT, renewing the values and ideals of John Dewey, James Robinson, Charles A. Beard, Wesley C. Mitchell, Thorstein Veblen, Leo Wolman, and Alvin S. Johnson.

Details to follow.

"Tho' much is taken, much abides; and tho
We are not now that strength which in the old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal-temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."
---Tennyson, "Ulysses"

Signed by a proud New School for Social Research graduate:

First Speaker

May First Speaker be only the first of many voices.
